Coco plugs are compressed coir pith made of fine cocopeat (coarse particles of coir >1mm) material in a paper or non-woven cloth. Different sizes of coco plugs are available to suit propagation in vegetable growing (Horticulture) and flower growing (Floriculture). Coco plugs are best suited for cuttings and seed germination.
Coco Plugs are available in Natural or Washed or Buffered Coir.
The nursery seedlings grown on this coco plugs (with non-woven cloth) can be easily uprooted and transplanted without damaging the root zone i.e. transplantation shock is minimized or avoided.
